  • Crash & Performance Data: We use tools like Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous logs when the App crashes to help us fix bugs.

To function as a distraction blocker, FreeInFive requires specific Android permissions. We value your privacy and limit how this data is used.

Usage Stats (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS):

  • Why we need it: The App monitors which applications you are using (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) to enforce the time limits you set.
  • How it is processed: This monitoring happens locally on your device. We do not upload your browsing history, message content, or list of installed apps to our servers for advertising purposes. Usage data is strictly used to trigger the "Block" or "Nudge" features.

We use the collected data for the following purposes:
